Why it is worth studying at NCSTU

You have decided to enter NCSTU, haven’t you? You’ve made a right decision! NCSTU is one of the biggest technical universties in the South of Russia. NCSTU, with 18 thousand students studying there at more than 70 Bachelor, Master and Dipolma courses, has become one of the major educational, scientific and cultural centres in the North Caucasus. The structure of the University comprises 9 Faculties, preliminary course for foreign students, 6 Scientific–research institues, 3 research centers, technopark, Research Center “Electronics, microelectronics and nanotechnologies”.

University complex comprises different educational institutions, libraries, sports facilities and clubs, cultural center, students theater, medical center, hostels.
Studyies take place in five different buldings specially marked in timetable:

ICT in education

New information and communication technologies are actively implemented at North Caucasus State Technical University. The Federal Internet Center RUNNET functioning on the premises of our university. All departments and branches of the University are joined into intranet. The library resources are available from any classroom equipped with computers. E-courses are used in educational process of all faculties. Students perform laboratory works using graphical programming environment LabVIEW. Modular, easily tuned devices and united software of LabVIEW allows students to study creation of advanced electrotechnical, measuring and managing systems step-by-step.
