Victor Vasilevich Efimov graduated from Faculty of Construction Engineering of Stavropol Polytechnic Institute (now NCSTU).He has been working at North Caucasus State Technical University since 1989. He started his career as assistant vice-rector for administrative work. Afterwards he became the head of the general service department. During six last years Victor Vasilevich held the office of vice-rector for administrative. In March 2010 he was appointed vice-rector for capital construction and capital repairs
Victor Vasilevich organizes work of capital construction department and training workshops. He stays in close cooperation with faculties and departments of the university, therefore all lecture halls, laboratories, buildings and hostels are overhauled in proper time.
Only in 2010 the main building has been repaired. The entrance hall has been equipped with security systems. Plastic roof and windows have been repaired; fire control system has been installed.
Efimov V.V. is the head of the furniture workshop that produces modern furniture of high quality for the university and on a by-order basis.
NCSTU has started a grandiose construction of new buildings with participation of V.V. Efimov. These are following construction projects:
1. A new main building of the university (total area 53 thousand square metres), that will provide the university additional space for lecture halls and laboratories. The new building will also contain a dining hall and a spacious youth centre with auditorium for 700 seats.
2. Scientific facility (total area 6 thousand square metres). This building is supposed to contain an educational and research centres of nanotechnologies and microsystem equipment for pilot production.
3. Business-incubator (total area 2 378 square metres).
In 2010 a Joint Nanotechnologies Centre of NCSTU was brought into service (total area 3 808 square metres).
