The students of preliminary course of NCSTU started their studies
The students of Stavropol higher education institutions have almost passed their exams. They are looking forward to coming holidays when they can have a rest at last and forget about all credits and exams. Meanwhile the students of preliminary course have just started their studies. They have no time for rest because there are only six months left to study Russian language.
Among the students of preliminary course there are citizens of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Syria, Sudan and Palestine. During the whole academic year the foreigners study Russian, Mathematics, Physics and other subjects, taught in Russian. After the course the students take exams. In case they pass them, they will have the opportunity of entering any faculty of the university.
Sagar Sigdel from Nepal is one of the most diligent students of the preliminary course. He speaks English fluently and now he is mastering the language of Pushkin and Chekhov. He started his studies only two months ago and now he’s already making progress. He wants to study power industry. Thus he chose faculty of power engineering, machine building and transport.
Ismail Alrafati from Palestine wants to bound up his future with oil industry, but for the present he cant cope with conjunction of Russian verbs. So all he can do now is crib from his friend’s Enayatollah Mohammad Shoeib copybook.
